After that, just pull the program out of the old 2250 ecm using calterm and e-mail it to me. it still should have all the settings and addresses programmed into it for the dash, cruise, jakes, truck etc. put back on the old 2250 ecm, wiring harness etc. My suggestion is to yank off that 2350 ecm and wiring. which means that the truck has a delete programming? - Which means that most likely it also has a horrible delete program now installed in that ecm to boot. The emissions systems are not going to be compatible at all. with the 2350 ecm and wiring harness, you have a mess on your hands.

You could have simply used the ecm and wiring harness off the CM2250 and had the existing program tweaked run the 2350 hardware and it would have run like a dream without any of those wiring or other headaches. What I want to know is why did you go thru all that trouble? Yeah i switched all parameters with insite its like its not communicating with body control module and the older motor the 2250 for wiring had engine brake switch on/off this one don't have it so just seeing if anyone else has done this swap before. So i had both wiring schematics out and rewired a new ecm plug from truck to engine oem side i got from a old truck wired it accordingly it runs but i have no jakes and no cruise that’s all i need help with unless you have done this swap beforeĪny information and advise would help me out so much thank you in advance !!!!!!
